Math vs. Mathematician

"A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin

Mathematics-unique power as analytical tool.

We can say Mathematics is a creative discipline. The language of mathematics is international. The subject transcends cultural boundaries and its importance is universally recognized. Mathematics has developed over time as a means of solving problems and also for its own sake. Mathematics can stimulate moments of pleasure and wonder when pupils solve a problem for the first time, discover a more elegant solution, or notice hidden connections. Pupils develop their knowledge and understanding of mathematics through practical activities, exploration and discussion, learning to talk about their methods and explain their reasoning.

They tackle problems through a range of methods, using increasingly complex mathematical language and reasoning. As they progress, they learn to appreciate the unique power of mathematics as an analytical tool for solving problems.

that was the things that also faced by me myself as math student..even i'm now majoring in math, me also hv the same tot as U Mr yORkE...but after study how to teach Math in diff ways...now i found, teacher as the main source play a very important role in order to motivate students not to hate math....many students rite now hating math bcoz their teacher's fault..it was not student itself...it is bcoz the teacher...if the teacher manage to find the appropriate ways or approaches or methods of teaching math, there is no solid reason for the students to hate math...actually math is something fun if the teacher know how to make fun and easy to learn...

oyeah...about the need to memorize millions of equations as well...i think...this is my opinion after stdy several papers on math...such as the hist of math and some other papers, i found that...it's not necessary for the students to memorize all the formula...what they need to do is just..master one and try to derive another based on what the master mine of it...just that...bkn ke sume ilmu kite kene hafal dan ingat...kan2?setuju x?

agak2 leh x minat math balik wahai Mr yORkE?

promosi baik punye...hahahaha~~~
